Jiang Lian (circa 1796-?)
Qing Dynasty painter. zhi Junxian, hao Xianghu, Junguang, , Xianghu Jushi, Muchen Laolianhua, Lian. He was active during the first half of the nineteenth century. Jiang Lian was a versatile Guangdong painter known for his fine stroke paintings of figural, floral, and insect subjects.
蔣蓮 (1796-?)
清代畫家活躍於十九世紀初。字君先，號香湖，一作薌湖，廣東香山（今中山），小欖人。生活于乾隆、道光年間，是清中葉著名畫家。人物追唐寅、仇英、清麗淡雅，尤擅仕女，亦偶寫山水。嘗為熊景星畫笠、屐、瓢、杖、葫蘆、拂子、扇、硯、劍等遊具凡九圖，景星自有詩， 徐榮和之，一時傳為韻事。為潭玉生畫《螢宮人》、《羅敷采桑》、《秀現書》、《謝道韞詠雪》、《盧士待妻桃花扇面》、《號國夫人朝天》、《南唐小周後提棟》等七圖。前有景星題詩，徐榮和詩，後有香湖自題詩。謝蘭生評謂：“追深唐、仇，饒有餘力，我輩老人固當斂手道菱。”畫進有《蝴蝶上階圖》軸，著錄於《志樂堂詩集》;《摹李晞古采薇圖》軸，著錄於《劍光櫻詩鈔》。傳世作品有《達摩圖》冊頁、《人物圖》冊頁，圖錄於《廣東省名畫家選集》。
