Gu Luo (1763- 1837)
zi Yumen, hao Ximen, was a native of Qiantang, Zhejiang. Gu excelled in painting figures, landscapes, flowers, birds and animals, in particular, female figures with subtle colour scheme and a touch of serenity.
顧洛(1763一1837）
清代畫家。字禹門，號西梅，浙江錢塘(今杭州）人。書法古勁圓厚，工畫人物、山水、、花卉、翎毛。山水蒼潤。尤擅長仕女。寫古衣冠，淵雅靜穆，深得陳居中神髓。山水蒼潤，花卉、翎毛亦見生動，工致妍麗，尤為著名。與張莘，奚岡、汪用成友善。用成延至其家，遂為代筆。生平作畫未嘗重稿，亦未嘗授一弟子。道光十七年(1837)卒，時年七十五。傳世作品有《仿元人仕女圖》，圖錄于《媚秋堂名人書畫》，《撫琴圖》，圖錄于《望雲軒名畫集》，另有《美人春愁因》，著錄于《澄懷堂書畫目錄》。
